​                             I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated the time line, it helped the story to flow, and I liked the concise explanations, getting straight to the point..cutting out the waffle and it kept to the point.
The plot was very clever, and believable... with lots of ups and downs,and the characters were very real.normal people, who didn't deserve the things that happened to them,but it showed how easy it is for events to spiral, if an eye is taken off the ball, through no fault of the victim . If an unscrupulous person sees a way to make a lot of money and has the resources, then it can result in a victim being ruined, both financially and emotionally. Also in this story, even some of the 'nasty' characters had redeeming features, and unlike many stories, the reader had an incite in to some of the characters, and an understanding of what made them take the actions they did.
